AMC’s master mariners and first class marine engineers conduct both SIRE and CDI vessel inspections. The SIRE inspections are commissioned by Oil companies who are OCIMF (Oil Companies International Marine Forum) members. This type of report is maintained on the OCIMF database and is open to other contributing members.
The CDI (Chemical Distribution Institute) inspection is suited to chemical and gas tankers. The CDI method of inspection relates to a scoring system for the vessel being inspected, the higher the score the more compliant the vessel to industry standards.
Our consultants are fully aware of current industry requirements / standards and undergo periodic audits of inspection procedures. We are also able to provide a vetting service custom made to meet our client’s specific needs.
